I am all for more scanners and storing things electronically. Hurrah, backups to our irreplaceable paper archive, etc.
But. But but BUT. BUT if it can be stored on a drive SURELY IT IS ALREADY IN DIGITAL FORMAT AND THUS HOW IN GODS NAME DO YOU PROPOSE TO SCAN IT. AND WHY? WHYYYY?
