Boooored. Again. Plenty do to, just can't get the motivation to do any of it...

Also discovered today that I missed the deadline for applying for a postal vote in the european election, as it was last thursday. WTF? Why so far away? How long does it take to send out a form? Fair enough I should have twigged earlier I'd be in Orkney when the election is on, but that's nearly a month in advance you have to apply! Not much use really. Bugger it.
Unless anyone knows if there's a last minute one you can get? The electoral office lady I phoned wasn't the most helpful.

On a brighter note, going to see Wolverine after work. Also have a new dress for newphew's christening in a couple of weeks. Which is nice.

Still pissed off about the vote tho. I LIKE voting. Stupid deadlines.

You might rethink 'brighter' after you see it.

Can you appoint someone to vote by proxy for you? I've voted by proxy for friends before, but I don't know how they set it up.

I have somehow managed to get registered to vote in Sweden AND in London. Suspect it'd be illegal to vote in both elections though...

That's a real shame.
Never mind, I'm sure your local Labour party have already made sure you're registered for a postal vote. And filled it in for your too...

Heh, seconded.

I did find a plus side to it though, it made me want to watch X-Men afterwards.

I think it might be too late for that now too. Will have a look at it tomorrow tho (also, have no idea WHO would do it for me!)

heh, being in Norn Iron, I don't really have a local labour party. I'd imagine the shinners are on it tho (even if i'm not dead yet)

I was going to ask who the shinners were, but it cleared in time.

What about t'other lot. (Unnies?)

Huns! A previous confusion over shinners caused the icon; the image of that twisted, hypocritical, bilge-spouting fucker riding around in a fez and tiny car amuses me no end ;p

I suspect there are a quite a few people who will overlook plot, acting, and ideas as a result of Hugh's Jackman.

Huns eh? That must have gone down well in days gone by. Unless there was an ulsterior motive for the appellation...

Nekkid Wolverine had that effect on me too.

Well it is quite the distraction! Oddly I don't have that much interest in him in anything else, just as Wolverine ;p

Personally, it was much more a desire to see a decent Marvel Mutant film.
But each to their own.

I'm torn as to which Sabretooth is the better one - Schrieber has the articulate brutality, but the wrestler was far more feral and bestial (and consequently tautologous).

When I saw Wolverine I kept imagining him as a musical cowboy - it certainly added to the entertainment.

I'm hurt at the way you overlooked (ignored?) my little pun in there *sob*
