Bank holiday weekends are great. GREAT I say. I have spent this one watching telly, catching up on sleeping, drinking Katy and reading World War Z (which is AWESOME and I would highly recommend it!).

However I have also managed to clear out my bedroom (those who have seen it will realise what a mammoth task that can be. There is VISIBLE FLOOR.), sort out a load of stuff - clothes, shoes, bedlinen - to give to charity, get through a mountain of washing, assemble the new patio table, do some more weeding/planting, thoroughly clean the bathroom, clean the kitchen and spend some time with the horse. No riding tho, she's still got new shoes. All of that and I still have today off!

Plans for today had included getting the grass cut and doing more washing, now I have a washing line (yay!), but alas the brief bout of sunshine yesterday has faded and it's all gone back to grey and cold and rainy. Plus, Pride & Prejudice is on telly. All of it! So I might potter about the living room getting it cleaned up while ~~waiting for Wet Mr Darcy~~ enjoying this fine production of classic literature!

illarane to get back from a ~~totally pointless~~* mission of mercy so that he can inspect the new tyres I've just fitted to his bike and we can go on a long ride!

*He has driven from here to LGW, about 25 miles, to collect a friend and drop him off home at Brighton, and then he needs to come back. Brighton and LGW are ON THE SAME TRAIN LINE and about two stops apart >.

I'm acutally doing very well with our bedroom, I've gotten rid of two big bin bags of clothes! Soon my floor will be visible (then I'll have to hoover, gah).

I should be sweeping, cleaning and doing paperwork. Instead I am dancing, reading and contemplating a nap.

They are basically poo-generation machines! It's not like they have much else to do ;p

I dropped off 2 bin bags of clothes and excess duvet covers AND a bag of shoes/boots I don't wear anymore. I also have more to give away from the mountains of washing. Then I need to tackle the spare room. Some day i might get as afar as teh secret bedroom...

pfft i think dancing, reading and napping are much more valuable pasttimes!

Does swaying help? There may be a particular rhythm he likes.
Or can you get yourself into a position so that your arm is supported?

ow ow i remember aoife going thro phases like that (our a. that is, not yours ;p) walking around with them can help sometimes or the swaying. Does he have the bug too?

no he doesn't he just likes cuddles, luckily I hve managed to put him in his seat -- waaaaaaaait, he's making noises... no it's ok.
