hellisonTried posting this from a phone app earlier, but it has FAILED me, so I will try the normal way. Which means the phone post will probably pop up straight after... we shall see!
Anyway. I have had a Very Pleasant Weekend!
Friday night was the 80's themed Hen night, which turned out to be lots of fun. Everyone looked wonderfully silly and there was a lot offlures flouresc bright pink on display. I avoided the pink horrors and went dressed as I actually did back then - leggings, docs (shiny patent red 20h docs. I love those boots) big tshirt, skirt and black shirt. And lots of chainmail style jewellery. Rather impressively, the skirt (mini!) and shirt were actually FROM the 80s, and still fit (just). As was the jewellery. It was fun digging it all out again. Also, naturally, big hair. In fact my hair is STILL big today. Should probably wash it ;p
Sadly, stupid camera battery ran out as soon as I go there, so alas no photos. Plenty of other people had cameras tho, so will see when they appear...
Yesterday was spent being vaguely, but not terribly, hungover, and essentially having what my Aunt Marian terms 'A Me Day', which mostly entailed lazing on the sofa reading/internetting/telly watching/chatting on phone, with the odd break to sort of tidy and make tasty foods. Good Times.
Today, another blissful lie-in, more reading and playing with phone intarnest (stupid not working blogging app) and then went off home to see teh family, who are all good, and Newest Nephew is such an adorably smiley chubby baby you could just eat him. NOM NOM NOM.
The only downside is now the weekend is practically over. WOE, etc.
