hellisonHello! I am quite drunk, following on from Surprise Pub evening with a very good friend who is getting married on friday and since I couldn't go to the stag weekend (WEEKEND! IN MUNICH!), wanted food and beers and chat. And stuff.
So, these were all had, along with much conversation on Friendship and the nature thereof, and how we - in this case specifically the Northern Ireland Staunch What Are These Things Called Feelings You Speak of? We - can often forget in the general process of life and living and Getting On With Things to tell people how much we appreciate their friendship and support and how much it actually means to us (tho we should also learn how to end sentences).
So. Also, being drunk? I have no real idea of the point I was aiming for when I started this, other than... Friends are good? adn TELLING people that is also good. And Talking To People, again, also good.
In conclusioncousins, Friends = Good.
Also, apparently, I am DESTINED (in above friend's head) to find TRUELUVE with a Scandanavian (probably Norwegian, but maybe Danish) with a shaved head, who is somewhere between 35-50ish. So, if you know of such a person... say hi from me? Or something?
It is also a Very Fine Thing that not only would it never occur to my friend's nearlywife to be worried/bothered/remotely concerned by our friendship, she actively encourages it and we are probably closer friends because of her. Because she is lovely ;)
So it's a win all round. Especially for Imaginary Sven, my Future Husband (because, there will apparently be children, so I assume Imaginary Sven is not Imaginary Svensdotter. Also that Imaginary Sven is a pretty fast mover ;p).
I can't wait for Friday!
OOH. ALSO! the other main Theme of the evening was "It's only a fucking rath". OR, in other words, work is Not That Important. Life is moreso.
Unless you are a nurse/doctor, in which case life/work are LOT more heavily intertwined than for most of us, sorry .
