aaaaand breathe...

So. Yesterday was a day of FLAAAAAIL. Flailing and phoning and flailing. Also in the middle of all that went to chiropractor and got my pelvis x-rayed, which was fun.

Then went to hospital to bring mum home, which she was much relieved at, not fancying the move to a different hospital...

So finally got home and she is coping here much better than we thought - better than she thought herself, which is good! Staying here for the next couple of days, then the brother is taking over for the weekend, which means I get to go see reuss after all! Just as well I didn't get round to cancelling the flights on Monday - sometimes, procrastination is a good thing ;)


Feeling much calmer all round. Now just need to figure out how to keep cats fed and happy and horse sorted over the next few weeks. But it will all work out, I am sure.

I'm glad to hear this hun, I've been very conscious of my self-indulgent whining whilst you have very real Stuff afoot!

You should definitely follow through and make a complaint about all this, I reckon. Maybe once your mum has had the op, and the stress is lifted, but she has been treated appallingly in this.

I'm good actually. I've had a good week so far, which feels rather odd after so many weeks of always having something or other go awkward and/or wrong. But odd in a good way :D
