Flying post, as have left work early today to go spend sometime with horse and maybe actually get to ride, has haven't had time all week.
In Mother News, she's had the big metal neckbrace/headcage taken off & replaced with lighter neck brace that is NOT bolted to her skull and has been moved to a different hospital where nurses actually seem to treat her as a person, not an inconvience, so plusses there. OTOH she is still feeling nauseous and not really eating much but she is gradually getting over that. Hopefully.
was meant to be at Horrormeat this weekend, but that seems unlikely as am fucking knackered and have no energy for being sociable or hanging round airports. Tho of course I could wake up tomorrow after a lie-in, think fuck it and hop on a plane. We shall see. Need for sleep and just chilling out may win tho.
Not much else to report, have spend most of week again shuttling between work, hospital and stables then collapsing on sofa about 10ish with crap tv playing endless rounds of spider solitaire. Am sure social points will climb back up soon and will stop being a giant NEGLECTOR (as unhurt so aptly puts it). May even comment on other people's journals, who knows!
