On A Brigher Note

I have had ... some hot port. An entire bottle of v. fine Pol Roget fizzy wine. A v. tasty baked spud lots of butter.
On teh telly, they are about to show last years xmas QI which features David Tennant in a purple velvet suit. I am about to open a tin of strongbow in anticipation of this visual feast.

Things are looking up!

am actually looking forward to tomorrow's hangover, because at least i can Anticipate and Prepare for that. and spend all morning in bed nurturing it. The simple pleasures are often the best ;)

I was very amused (& inspired) when I first noticed the date, thinking this was a more current post. Alas, it was at the altogether more sensible time of midnight.

hehe that would have made for a GREAT saturday morning!

As it is tho, it's been a pretty damn good day. I have done NOTHING but laze, nap, and have a looong hot bath. have tofu marinating and veg chopped for healthsome stirfry later, to be followed by much less healthsome popcorn and chocolate ;p

So far, today has been a Grand Success ;)
