drop scones = pancakes yes? (i'll have no truck with this crepe nonsense). Those i can make, and do on pancake tuesday, thus having a big bag of left over soda-bread flour (as obv. the ONLY true way to make them is with sodabread flour and buttermilk) to use up. Was v. impressed I actually managed to bake edible soda bread loaf - I'd love to try farls but don't have the required really thick pan/griddle to do them on.
The chocolate fuelled part didn't occur to me when I agreed (AGES AGO) to do this, and by the time it had, it was too late to back out!
