woo, saw the butterfly effect with anavrinny last year! V. odd film, but good. And I've been eyeing up that Strange and Norrel book for a while, is it as good as the hype?

Even your dinner suggestion is excellent (with added onions :p)

I suppose I enjoyed it more because I wasn't aware of any hype. It moves along at a slow pace and if you are not a fan of footnotes avoid it. But overall I'd recommend it, even if you end up using it as a door stop ;p
