I went for TPB since a sunny afternoon in the garden didn't seem the right setting for Coraline ;)
Loved it, totally loved it - (altho I agree about the asides, it easily do without them). I'm impressed at how faithfully the film stuck to the book and also how little glimpses of things from the book they didn't have time for fully popped up in the film, like the Fezzik bringing the whites at the end.
