Not only is it a friday, its Work Closes Early Friday! Then 2 days off, Hurrah! It's a lovely day too, so there well be Sitting In The Garden With Pimms this evening ;)
The only downside to today so far is that my pay cheque hasn't cleared and I have no monies (had to borrow a tenner to get lunch and stuff), but there is food and a ridiculous amount of drink in the house and I have euros on hand for getting to Swords on Monday, so it's all good really.
Work has even been Enjoyable this morning, spent it testing the first verion of the spanky new database thingy IT are developing for us and so far, its pretty good. There are a few glitches, but nothing major and as this is only the first stab at it, its only to be expected.
In the midst of this unusual bout of working, the assassains board has been keeping me hugely amused. Tho I have to say if I ever met Dcdhol in person I'm not sure I'd be able to resist smacking that horrible smugness out of him. People like him really make my skin crawl.

Oops forgot the Other Good Thing - my lastest Amazon package arrived, now the only Dilema is what to read first... torn between Coraline and The Princess Bride

Loved it, totally loved it - (altho I agree about the asides, it easily do without them).
I'm impressed at how faithfully the film stuck to the book and also how little glimpses of things from the book they didn't have time for fully popped up in the film, like the Fezzik bringing the whites at the end.
hmm. i'm not sure that sentance made sense :p
