hellisonSo the concert was GRATE! there was much rushing about beforehand after work, getting horses in, riding in the rain etc, missed Maroon 5 but made it down before Franz Ferdinand started, so all was good.
FF rocked - good, straightforward, no fancy messing about rocking, with added corny lines (see title). Scissor Sisters OTH were all about the crazy fun, with added giant muppet monsters. Both bands definitely well worth seeing live - I'm not a big SS fan or anything, but they put on a great show.
Even the rain managed to hold off til near the end, by which point it didn't really matter. Everything seemed to go off well, no hassle or even drunken idiots (tho that may have had something to do with the fact that the bar queue was apparently over half an hour long) and no-one got shot. Good times!
