SO cute :p

Have revised cat=cute opinion having just got home to find half a mouse [1] on the floor.

I've just about got the hang of WHOLE ones now I'm getting partial bloody carcasses?
Not good.

And now, of course, I'm left wondering where the other half is...

[1] the top half, since i know SOMEONE will ask.

By "top half" do you mean the front, with the head and forelegs, or has your cat managed to slice it in half with the legs on one half and the ears on the other?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Head and some Other Unrecognisable parts (admittedly I didn't look too closely...)

Sickeningly cute... say, don't you have a kitten and a digital camera?

I do indeed and if there are anymore bleeding carcasses, they'll be going into the sink head first.

If it's any consolation, I suspect the rear quarters of said mouse are residing inside your cat.

When I was at school I used to get up early to watch TV, and had to step across the dark hallway to get to the front room. Our cats used to leave worms as "presents"... the number of times I trod barefoot onto a fat moist worm...

Heh mine used to bring in worms every time it rained. And a snail once ;p

Definitely prefer a squished worm to half-a-mouse tho ;p
