Chances are people you don't even know are being introduced to your journal every day, either randomly or through someone else. In addition to recent entries, people can get to know you better by what you posted in the past. With that in mind post a link to your entries on this day exactly six months ago, nine months ago, a year ago, and two years ago. If there was no entry on that day, link the closest date.
Six months ago, I had just found my old stash of 2000ADs and Hellblazers http://www.livejournal.com/users/hellison/2005/03/27/
Nine months ago (ish, didn't come near this over xmas) I was recovering from a couple of all night drinking sessions and bemoaning teh collapse of holiday plans http://www.livejournal.com/users/hellison/2005/01/05/
A year ago I was doing the get ziggy fit thing and hadn't got nearly as far as I have this year, which makes me feel much happier about how we're doing now ;) Also had been to little brother's best-friend's wedding which mostly made me feel old :p http://www.livejournal.com/users/hellison/2004/09/27/
Two years ago I hadn't quite started yet, first entry is october '03 when the lil Leo-monster had just been born and I was considering a new horse. Didn't go for that one tho and ended up with Ziggy instead ;) http://www.livejournal.com/users/hellison/2003/10/19/
And I KNOW I said no more firefly, but its a MEME, so that doesn't count, right?
