Another blissful weekend of having 2 whole days to do whatever I wanted.
Sat had a lovely lie in, pottered about the stables all day then pottered about the mud all evening.
Sunday I got almost energetic and not only tided the living room but had a Big Clear Out of clothes, got rid of a lot of stuff I never wear or never will wear or had been hanging onto for years because I might wear it again but never did. I even made a whole pile of 'not sures' and tried them all on and got rid of over half of them too.
Yay for me! There is probably more that could go, but I think I did good. Next weekend I might try tackling the Boxes of Stuff that I never go near and see if I can get rid of a lot of that too. I am a terrible hoarder. Or to be more precise I am a very good hoarder ;p
After that Cleansing Exercise I called round to the sister and played with babies for a bit, then took a run down to Mum's to check all was ok while she's off gallivanting round Toronto and it all was. I have no idea what I'd have done if it wasn't actually ;p
Today half day from work to have riding lesson, which was Bloody Hard Work. Particularly since I had to do quite a bit of it with no stirrups. Oddly, I have a much better position without them, with them my legs get too far forward. Tho apparently this is partly the saddle as it's a hunting saddle and thus cut for a forward seat, so it's not *all* my fault, yay! However now I ache muchly.
Thank God for sports bras is all I can say tho. Took extra precaution (on the advice of the Lovely Bravissimo Lady) and wore it over a normal bra and it was amazing. Nothing moved ;p Of course I could hardly breathe (even after I loosened it a bit, originally had it on the last hook, but it felt like being back in
littlebluefish's corset), but still! Much more comfortable than usual. That was probably a bit of TMI, but there you go.
So now I am waiting for house and water to heat up so I can soak in a hot bath, possibly with Radox. And a Heyer novel. And maybe some chocolate. Bliss!

I am reminded, now, that I should throw things away, too. I am also a terrible hoarder, in that same enantiodromic sense of "terrible".

Some day I will take a week off work and clear out. Honestly ;p
I need a week because every time I start I find Interesting Things, like old letters or magazines, and get totally sidetracked.
