(no subject)

So, it would appear 3am is NOT the optimum time for going to bed of a Sunday evening. Particularly when this is followed by much tossing, turning, ceiling gazing and formulating of various forms of lj post in my head to pass the time. Seriously, at one point I was almost going to give in, get up and post... god knows what ;p
Be thankful you were spared!

Oddly I still don't feel that tired. Just cranky and pissed off at pretty much everyone and everything ;p

But in better news my Serenity comics finally arrived, HURRAH! And even better, they managed to get me the Wash cover for the 3rd one that was originally sold out, yay.
Of course now they are sitting beside me calling to me and I have to wait til LUNCHTIME because, while I can get away with lj posting I have a feeling sitting at me desk reading comics might just be pushing it a step too far. Alas.

Why can't I be a kept woman damnit?? Then I could sleep when I wanted and read comics as soon as they arrived. Life is so unfair!
I shall have to cheer myself up by gazing at Lovely Neil Icon and looking for cheap flights to Toronto.

back to the Kept Woman question - is it good or bad to be Kept?

[identity profile] being-here.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
That depends on if waxing is necessary.

Or children.

[identity profile] thesme-01.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
oh god! horrors!
helen says no on the waxing - it never occurred to me that children might be necessary....

But if your man can afford to keep you in the manner to which you've gotten accustomed, he can damn well afford to send the little buggers to boarding school too :P

One just does what the Famouse Peoples do and pick up a cute lil forn orphan kiddie or 3, which one can then display in matching Designer outfits in Hello magazine, then consign to fleet of nannies to be kept in the Nusery Wing while one lounges by the pool sipping champagne supplied by the hot young Pool Boy.

There might be a gap in the market for the hire of cute orphans for public display?

[identity profile] being-here.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
I've suggested it before - after all ebay was made for this..

[identity profile] jin-shei.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
Is there an age limit on cute orphans? I am 32....

[identity profile] being-here.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
I'm trying to become pure in tought, word and deed so I'll just be really quiet right now ;-)

[identity profile] jin-shei.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 08:34 am (UTC)(link)
Much healthier too...

age bar on cute orphans

[identity profile] thesme-01.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, actually, I'm 32 and I don't see why I should be excluded from cute orphan category.

Who wants to hire me then?

Can I dress you in a sailor suit and make you call me 'mamma'?

Actually, that's just a little too disturbing even for me...

(put the hammer down slowly, please)

[identity profile] hellison.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think there's an age limit. OTOH while you are cute, you aren't an orphan. So you will have to remain unadopted when I become a Kept Woman ;p

degrees of orphanage? Me no Think So

[identity profile] thesme-01.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
Yes well I'm 3/4rs an Orphan.
Should have thought that would be enough

Anyway I'm only hiring myself out for special occasions.

Go on go on go on who wants a go?

That was for [livejournal.com profile] littlebluefish not you eejit, I KNOW you're an orphan (mostly).
Hey, I could adopt Aoife too and dress you in matching sailor suits and make you sing the Death Songs to entertain visitors! How cute would that be?

Re: degrees of orphanage? Me no Think So

[identity profile] thesme-01.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 07:09 am (UTC)(link)
i think i can safely speak for Aoife and refer you to my reply above. The one with

f off!

in it...

[identity profile] jin-shei.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 08:37 am (UTC)(link)
But I could keeeeel them all and then be adopted? Right? RIGHT? Why are you running away, pretty ladee?

[identity profile] thesme-01.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 08:48 am (UTC)(link)
I refer you to my journal entry re: Alanis Morissette.
The down sides are the falling down trousers and the mass cards. Or Heathen Equivalent of same. Heathens! Do they have cards at all at all???

Oh.

And the Sailor Suits....

Re: keeeel them alllllllllllll

[identity profile] jin-shei.livejournal.com 2005-11-21 08:57 am (UTC)(link)
