Diversification

Just got home (to COLD house) to find a living room full of feathers. First thought perhaps had been broken into by gang of pillow-fighting young girls, and was searching for more signs of such when I found the dead bird.
Then the other dead bird.

Thankfully not Z0MBEI Birds. Also not even remotely as bothered by removing dead birds as dead mice. Much sadder tho, one was a chubby little robin, the other a sparrow maybe? Dunno. Poor little things.

Cats now in total disgrace, tho I'm not sure they actually *know* this. Tho perhaps they meant it for the best, certainly a distraction.

that's a very boy thing to conclude! you weren't hopefully thinking that were you? ;)

p.s. small birds make good pie filling...

though it takes four and twenty of them to fill one pie.

and that's without removing all the bits and pieces.

well, it sounds like the cats have already taken care of that part...

Nah, apparently the birds were intact, minus just one leetle leggy-weggy
