Hotels in and around Heathrow seem quite booked up for next wed night (obviously they heard I was coming ;p). In fact the only hotel that some sites are offering is St. Giles...

However, there is always the option of staying near Paddington (zippy heathrow express) or pretty much anywhere on the Picadilly line, so all is still well. I'm not hugely bothered either way, so where suits people - is somewhere more central handier? I'll probably go Somewhere to potter about in the afternoon til you all get out of work anyway ;)

And who is coming? So far I think we have Reuss (& mr reuss?), Dasquian, Malvino, Nou, Kelemvor and Adelpha. And maybe Caramel_betty? (sorry, can't be arsed doing the lj user thing for everyone ;p)

Answers on a postcard comment please, I'll need to book somewhere pretty soon!

ETA What do people think of meeting up in the pub in Paddington Station suggested by nou? Looks pretty good, does a range of foods and beers. And strongbow ;p

You're still welcome to stay over here if you need to. We had people over at the weekend, so the spare room's not looking its usual 'dumping ground for Stuff'. The Dumping of Bagges could be done at the left luggage place at Waterloo so you can happily frolic in London until Alcohol happens, then pick them up on the way through.

Hrm, might need to check their opening times...

Where abouts do you live? My london knowledge is fairly scanty, but I can pretty much work the tubes now (go me!). There is a left luggage thingy at Heathrow too, so I might just dump the case there and frolic freely from thence thro the streets of London ;)

Flight has ended up not being til 1, which is good, but if you guys are working in the morning I don't want to inflict Cider Helen on you!

I can't speak for kelemvor, but I don't have to be into work until 10 and might be able to work from home if I don't have any pointless wastes of times meetings to go to :P

Aha ;) If we go to the pub in paddington I'll look for a hotel about there, since its so easy for the heathrow express, otherwise I shall gladly take you up on teh offer, thanks v. much ;)
