Just about, due to spectacular dumbness on my part re booking flight from heathrow back here for YESTERDAY not today. Yay for credit cards tho ;p
I think the Man at the Desk was expecting to throw an Aiport style scene, he was almost apologising that he couldn't let me on, while I was trying to profusely apologise to HIM for being teh dumb and asking very very nicely if he could sell me a ticket for TODAY'S flight. Got there in the end ;p

Went to Niagara yesterday which was just stunning, because it's got so cold all the mist turns to ice and there are icicles hanging off everything and bizarre ice shapes that turn out to be trees and lamps and so on. Beautiful. Took many photos, tho there was still the lovely Icy Mist so not sure how they'll turn out. Will see later.


Am v. tired and not entirely sure which time zone i'm meant to be in- (had barely adjusted to canada-time and now I'm back here and I'm not sure when I am.
I know where I'm going tho, BED. At least til the house warms up :p

west-to-east jetlag is the worst thing. dr. unhurt recommends that you do nothing for 18 hrs. chocolate good for balancing the internal time-hormones, too (well, i made that up, but it could be true!)

I'll stick with necking a couple of sleeping pills just after takeoff and sleeping the flight away.

Sodding stewardess permitting. She couldn't just let me doze away, could she? Nooo.. I HAD to have the (rather nasty) veggie meal she'd just carted the 10 metres from the kitchen. *mutters*

Maybe I should pinch one of those 'Do Not Disturb' signs from a hotel and hang it off my ear next time :P

Yeah, they're so bloody insistant. I'd just about managed to finally get to sleep when on came the lights and round came breakfast.
AT TWO AM. Hmm a carrot muffin, wtf? I WANTED TO SLEEP.
