hellisonSo there I am, snuggled up in bed, dreaming a rather odd dream about being held by the CIA (or similar) after bumping into George Bush coming out of the toilets of a posh building somewhere, because he gave me a ticket to a rave and they want it back before the press find out and I am confusing them by demanding representatives from the British and Irish embassies (yay, dual citizenship), when I am awoke by lots of screeching of tyres, car doors banging and much yelling.
"Oh noes!" I think "They have come for me!".
The yelling continues and I wake up enough to drag myself out of bed to peek out the window. Outside there are at least 10 cops in riot gear pelting down the street with some more surrounding a car yelling at a bloke on the ground. This goes on for some time, with much running, yelling, waving of large guns and capture of a couple more guys.
They get handcuffed and very odd white sack Things put over their heads, like pillow cases only with a hole for teh face. Never seen those before.
After half an hour or so, I get bored (and cold) peeking and go back to bed, around 4am. Low level banging of car doors and some yelling continues throughout the night, then at about 7 a huge white container onna lorry shows up to take away the offending car.
All very exciting but now I am very very tired and tonight is supposed to be teh big drinking night. Woes.
Hmm bbc news in brief tells me they were a non-paramilitary Gang and had guns and hammers in their car.

Four held as guns, hammers seized
Four men have been arrested and weapons recovered during a police operation in County Antrim.
The men, two of whom are aged 38, one 39 and the other 31, were arrested near Upper Dunmurry Lane on Tuesday morning.
Two handguns and two sledgehammers were recovered.
The operation is understood to be part of an investigation into organised crime involving a criminal gang with no paramilitary involvement.
