This morning didn't start so well, slept in, bath water was decidedly tepid, then had OMG Where Are My Clothes panic (guess. Go on, just guess), missed train and got slowest bus ever into work.
However from there, things have started to look up quite significantly. Went to WHS to buy book for nephew and found Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes, which I've wanted for ages (for myself ;p). Then went to HMV for pressie for
thesme_01 and got 2nd series of Northern Exposure dvd. FREE!!! Oh Happy day!
THEN got to work finally, about 10.45, popped into receptionist's room where quite a few people were gathered to be greeted with 'what d'ya want, beer, vodka, wine or breezer?'.
So now on 2nd bacardi breezer of day and just about to head to pub, once xmas cards are written, to get stupidly drunk by tea time.
Yay!
Also The Day After Tomorrow is a FAB disaster movie. All the standards - Slightly Estranged Family, Politicians Who Just Won't Listen, Tragic Children and of course A Dog, with Extreme Weather AND super cooled hurricanes. Frozen Helicopters! Wolves! Instant Death!
Altho they did lose some points because nobody died saving the dog from anything, giving Dante's Peak a slight edge there (also for Best Movie Death Ever).
Anyway! Happy Christmas ;)
PS you'd be surpised how tipsy you can get on just 2 bacardi breezers before lunch...
