Hehe - the latest Lonely Planet guide for Ireland has been... less than kind to some of our towns and people are, if you'll excuse the term, up in arms.

To be perfectly honest, to say that Larne is 'lacking in charm' and that Bundoran and Newcastle are 'tacky' is a masterpiece of understatement.

Belfast on the other hand is now Cool because, excuse me for a second while I compose myself, it is a Boom Town.

Nope, can't do it, getting the Why Is She Laughing At the Computer looks again.

Rofl that website is hilarous. The McDonalds in teh city center actually has a higher death rate. They dont' seem to do well here ;p
