At first glance I thought this programme sounded horribly Jerry Springeresque - bringing families of victims of the violence here together with their killers on screen. But on reading more, the meetings were overseen/mediated by Archbishop Tutu and sounds fascinating, tho I'd imagine not easy viewing. Particularly since it doesn't seem to have followed the Expected Movie Script of Evil-doers repenting touchingly -
"We were waiting for the first person to say they wished they had never done it, but that didn't happen," he [the producer] said.

Starts March 4th, BBC 2

Michael Stone still looks like a complete psycho tho :p

The postal strike thing may be getting somewhere, looks like Royal Mail may be giving in and giving them the independant review, tho apparently they're just *clarifying* an offer they made before...
The best bit tho is this - an attempt to widen the strike to Londonderry failed because of a lack of support for the Belfast workers. heh ;p Sux2bu belfast hi

Yeah it was the fact that he was involved that impressed me too, at first glance it sounded horrible. Maybe they want to show some sort of Resolution and Look, You CAN Move On type of thing. Who knows?

There were postwomen out today handing out leaflets about Please Support Us and I managed to be polite and not yell PLEASE GIVE ME MY POST. I suspect it was postwomen as they were less likely to get lynched ;p
