So, tonight was my only entirely free evening between now and... next weekend. Except maybe sunday. So I had Plans. I was going to Do Things, including washing, shopping, going to bottle bank, general kitchen clearing/cleaning & calling down to UIM Alan's farewell drinks thing to get my remaining firefly dvds.

What actually happened?
Got home. Went up stairs to sort out washing. FELL ASLEEP. Woke up sometime after 9. Went down to pub to get dvds, which Alan has apparently lost, but he gave me his set instead, so that's something *mutters*.

Now having chinese and cider. Sleeping tonight is not looking promising...

oh, almost forgot - last night i found strange crossover rodney/river fic!

(he was in cryo for centuries; it only sort of worked - and not just because having entered SGA fandom via fic i can't imagine him with anyone but john or radek...)

Did you know, in yet another stroke of Jossly genius, he said he'd planned (if they'd got more series made) to have Spike pop up as a cameo, just sitting in a bar looking surly ;p

but now you've made me want spike-interacting-with-mal fic! (note: NOT spike/mal) mal would be so amazingly irritated by spike, hee hee. also, spike would torture - er, hopefully not literally - simon with great glee. and secretly be sweet on kaylee, and treat jayne like mobile furniture until jayne tried to feed him into an engine or something.
