An unusually productive day...

Particularly for a Sunday! Possibly because it started at 7am when Aoife woke up.
Actually, started at 6 when *I* woke up and got gradually more paranoid because neither of the kids was, leading to sneaking about at c.6.30 to check they were indeed sleeping and not dead (what? Doesn't everyone get that looking after other people's kids?).

Once I had figured out the logistics of transporting 2 babies down stairs, the morning was spent wrestling with changes of clothes, nappies, porridge and bottles, to the tune of Teletubbies and Balamory, thankfully with Mum's help. How my sister manages this by herself every day I have no idea.

Was relieved of Baby Duty at lunchtime and headed for stables, turned Ziggy out, did stable and feeds, when home & fed cats, then headed to Tescos for shopping. After shopping and some lunch for me, went back, finished stable and brought Ziggy in (and she must be knackered because she actually came willingly!).

Came home and have cleaned bathroom, cleaned AND cleared much pointless crap from kitchen, washing is on and Nice Healthy Dinner with Lovely Fresh Veg is cooking (admittedly with oven chips, but hey, I've earned them ;p).

And it's only 8 o'clock!

Maybe I am coming down with something...

i am your polar (useless) opposite today! woke up early (9.30 am. on a SUNDAY) - amazingly hangover free after the kremlin - and made tea. and went back to bed with tea and laptop and watched dl'd eps of the sentinel and, er, read stargate: atlantis fic until after 12...

otherwise i have: played on lj. listened to music. read biggles books. now drinking rest of bottle of cheap fizz on empty stomach (have happy wheee! head) and waiting for delicious healthy pizza and garlic bread to arrive.

Heh, well usually that would be pretty much my entire weekend ;p

Bah. Now I want fizz too.

I was semi-productive. Bought and fitted new tyre for bike. Cycled to Kingston to buy new work clothes (and, as it turned out, DVDs and books OH NOES). Watched one of the DVDs. Cracked a coding problem. Have just potted up three Coffea arabica nana seedings, and sown 16 Capsicum annuum seeds (six "Redskin" [at £3.55 a packet, OUCH]; 10 "Jalapeño"). I was also going to plant the Arum cornatum corm, but I'm getting short of compost, and my back's hurting. Oh, the iniquities of age!
