Weekend went very much as planned - ie bugger all happened, and it was good!

Ambled around teh mud, rode the horse (got soaked a few times on Sunday, bloody weather), played fetch with cats, watched National with family on Sat, despite Nephew's attempts to make us watch Bob the Builder instead, played with shiny new Nintendo game thingy.

Nintendogs is SO CUTE, once you get over the whole silliness of telling a game to Sit! etc. It's pretty impressive when it does tho ;)
Also got Sonic game with it, which I am going to take back today, because I never was any good at those games and all that frantic button pressing just stresses me out (man). Might trade it in for some version of Sims since that (like so many others) was a Fad that just passed me by, but looked like fun ;p

And that's about it really. This morning I am mostly sleepy due to inability to sleep last night, despite going to bed much later than planned. Why do BBC keep putting on Jackie Chan movies late on a Sunday anyway? It's very wrong of them. So in lieu of actually Doing Stuff, am looking at flights to Canada instead. Yay for holidays!

I didn't like Animal Crossing, but then again I'm not very keen on completely aimless types of game anyway... plus I ended up in a net of Mr Restti's and just decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I took it back and got a preorder for Trauma Center instead. :)

I'd recommend getting Project Rub or The Rub Rabbits: they're very, very Japanese and completely bizarre collections of minigames, all using the touch screen and the microphone. The entire thing is completely insane and it's impossible not to be laughing your head off the entire time.

You would be amazed at how many people look at you like you are crazy when you yell into a portable device "I LOVE YOU!". Even at, say, 9pm at night, when you're just leaving Newport.

Fortunatly most of it is just stylus stuff (And you can even cheat the games that require you to talk into them by playing CD player headphones into the mic, although that doesn't work all the time or when they want sudden exclamations)
