Things I have learned so far this weekend include -

1. Migraleve (anti migraine tablets) and cider do not mix well. Oh no. Very drunk very quickly turning to very EMO for no apparent reason. Pointless drunken WOE Fits are so much fun ;p

2. I did not buy a sofa today. According to the dfs website, I have instead purchased a 'leather seating system'. Looked like a sofa to me. Tho mine, when it eventually arrives in about 3 months, will not be bright red, it will be sort of old club chairs brown.ish. I think ;p
We shall see!

giles? ASH is in dr who? reaaaalllly? because, giles is absolutely an older-guy crush of mine. (though i liked him more when he was stuffy and tweedy. such a nice contrast to 'ripper'. and, argh, now i must return to a fandom of yore and try and find the really hot spike/giles - no, don't laugh, it was - pwp i used to have saved. also, the things involving giles and ethan rayne...)

still looking for it, but in the process i have found my favourite spike quote EVAR again. (spike is watching angel and damsel in distress from a rooftop and providing the dialogue):

did you see him on the last ever ant & dec SM:TV? he 'guest starred' in 'chums' as ant's old headmaster (groan). there were references to caning, and ASH was trying not to wet himself laughing.
