The other thing I'd forgotten about the lack of horse is that, now I'm not out of the house for 2-3 hours every evening doing horse stuff, there is a related lack of tired in the evenings.

I had planned to do some gardening last night, but rain thwarted me there, so in the end the most energetic thing I did all evening was a bit of Tom and Jerry-style shrieking and flailing when I caught Lana trying to stash a half-dead mouse in my handbag. Luckily (?) the mouse made a break for freedom and once she had it again, I flailed her out the cat flap. I need one of those broom thingys the woman in the cartoon had. Remind me again, WHY do I have cats?

ANYWAY the rest of the evening was spent between sofa and pc, with no sign of tiredness. Until 3am *yawns*.

Looks like it might be drier tonight, hopefully will get to the garden. Have lovely new herbs to plant too (to give me some incentive to reclaim the little herb patch).

1. Thunder - yeah, the annoying thing about showers is you never know where they will end up. So you could get off scott-free, or you could end up very wet. The only way to know is to look at the sky and see if there are gurt big clouds heading your way.

2. No meece! Just one asleep cat. She didn't wake up even when I lifted the bag. I had to lift her out and even then she was half asleep.

NO sign of thunder but it has been PISSING down all afternoon! Tho it just go very dark, so time for thunder yet.

Looks like tescos and b&q tonight instead of gardening ;p

don't think thunder is going to happen - just lots and lots of rain.
same for the rest of the week with added wind. :(
