Earlier, I was predicting shoe-related disaster, because heels were invovled.
This did not come to pass! I drank, i danced, i drank, i danced some more, no falling.
Went back to D.'s , drank, smoked, stepped over people to get across a room and STILL no falling.

Eventually, get tasi home. Manage to convey destination to driver AND hold some form of conversation. All Going Well.
Pay taxi man, get out of taxi, try to walk.

Fall on face. WTF??? Bag falls, scrabble for belongings, taxi man watching.
Get up, stumble towards house thinking 'hmm. feet don't feel right..'
Get in, look at shoes, see this..






look at leg. See bleeding. Am thankfully not drunk enough to post pic of bleeding.

Should now go wash leg tho.

ETA washed leg. Have nasty grazed knee. Hurts quite a lot. Not at ALL amused re. shoes.May need Dettol.

They were very comfy up until this point! Will be returning them to the shop monday tho, I can fall over quite enough on my own, with having shoes catch me unawares like this!
