Lazing on a rainy afternoon

Decided, now that I have oil and the boiler worked (yay), and the house is finally WARM again, to take the day off and see if I can shift this cold. I was actually considering just the morning, but now it's gone all grey and miserable and wet outside again, I think I'll just stay put ;p

Also stayed up a bit too late last night having far too much fun arguing on (cre) and being accused of Sarcasm. Moi? As if!

This morning has mostly consisted of a lovely lie in (with added cats),tea, toast and firmly resisting the urge to look up BB stuff on t'internet, after getting sucked into watching it last night. I blame YOU dasquian entirely.
I can be strong. I know I can!
(but the lunacy and hissy fits were so impressively out of nowhere and pointless...)

It was to get down to 3 here last night, today it's all the way to 11! So very glad the heating works...

The main reason I didnt take a day off with this cold last week was that it was warm at work ;p

16? 16?? Why that's positively TROPICAL. Don't know you're born you lot. We'd have KILLED to have 16 in my day!

But... But... 16C indoors is practically boiling! My dear bf insists on no heating in the bedroom even in winter, and prefers to have the window open even then if only I let him. I usually get the temperature up to 14 or 15 degrees in the living room during the evening though.

Of course, now that spring is here it's actually a lot warmer inside, I actually saw the temperature go above 20C for the first time this year the other day! :P
