Morning all ;) Isn't amazing how a weekend of lounging in the sun by the sea can leave you knackered? *yawns*
Friday evening was spent drinking and mudding (
malvino, am I imagining it or we were really discussing the nature of Confession while stabbing everything in sight?) til some very early hours.
Saturday, headed for Termonfeckin and Trish's beach house there, had a great evening drinking in the sun and going for rather wobbly walks with Coralie; it may be a bad sign when a 2 yr old can walk straighter than you.
Once she went to bed, more drinking was done, then Ruth and I went for a midnight stroll (well, stagger) along the beach with bottle of wine; Manix joined us after a bit and we sat in the sand singing songs we couldn't remember the words of, then rounded the evening off sitting in the car with the Horslips at full blast, singing Dearg Doom. Repeatedly.
Sunday began rather suddenly with Trish depositing C. on me, saying "Your Turn!" and legging it. Once I'd gotten over the shock, had some more sleep, some painkillers and a lot of water, the rest of the day was spent like

with occasional breaks to go paddling (the water was unfortunately way too shallow to swim) and make sandcastles.
Eventually left, drove home and spent the evening watching movies while drinking cava (hurrah for hair of the dog!). Resident Evil is much better film than I'd expected. Yay Zombies!
Today, I just want to sleep.

Still, if I could spell transubstantiation, never mind talk about it, I'm quite impressed ;)

I have pics from Donegal but as I don't have broadband it takes 75 million years to upload them onto fotopic :(

I did try to go swimming but the beach is totally flat and the tide was really far out and I couldn't find anywhere the water was deeper than my knees!
It was very blissful tho. Apart from the horrendous hangover, but there's no better way to waste a hungover day than lying in the sun ;)
