Still so very sleepy, despite going to bed EARLY and taking the morning off to sleep in. Also have woken up with inexplicably stiff neck and back, not sure what did that. Need a new mattress I think.
If the rain stays off, a good long hack on Ziggy will shake most of that out, apparently we're allowed into the back field now, so if it's dry enough lots of big canters and a few jumps.
If it's raining tho, probably should do some flat work, since last week was mostly jumping. What I *really* need to do is lots of no stirrups work(ouch). Hmm. If there aren't may people about, might get Christine to lunge me, and she can get her own back at me for being yelled over jumps last week.
There was something else I was going to rant about... ah price of Diesel
NINETY PENCE, wtf?? It was 85-87p (depending on garage) last week, now its suddenly 90?
Weren't there huge outcrys and protests a few years ago when it went up to 85? No-one seems bothered now. Mind you if it makes me use the car less it's probably not such a bad thing, have got far too lazy. If the weather improves I should probably start walking to & from the stables again, now the evenings are lighter.
Which reminds me, I'll need to sort out some form of exercise for when Ziggy goes out to grass over the summer, instead of turning back into a vegetable.
To the leisure centre Robin!
