So. I decided last night that 12.30 was a good time to start reading A Hat Full of Sky. Just a bit of it, to see how it starts.
Two hours later I finally managed to put it down, mostly because it was getting hard to focus on the words :p So tis good!
The younger witches reminded me a lot of some of the witches an the mud. Wanna-be wizzards without the staff :p More concerned with levels, techniques and step by step instructions on how exactly things Should Be Done than just trying it out to see what happens and (the horror) working it out for yourself.
Insert obligatory 'it weren't like that in my day' ramble here, belt, onions etc, and I'll stop now cos this wasn't meant to turn into a rant :p
Going to see H2G2 movie tonight, tho timing will be quite tight as I had planned to leave at 4 to get horse etc done but now we have a meeting with the accountant at 4.30, so he can explain to us this get-more-money scheme in detail, which still seems a tad dodgy to me. I suspect there will be much ranting and cursing and Ruining of His Life from Idiot Cow-orker if we decide not to do it. Oh waily waily waily.
