Come and dance with me Belfast

So the concert was GRATE! there was much rushing about beforehand after work, getting horses in, riding in the rain etc, missed Maroon 5 but made it down before Franz Ferdinand started, so all was good.

FF rocked - good, straightforward, no fancy messing about rocking, with added corny lines (see title). Scissor Sisters OTH were all about the crazy fun, with added giant muppet monsters. Both bands definitely well worth seeing live - I'm not a big SS fan or anything, but they put on a great show.
Even the rain managed to hold off til near the end, by which point it didn't really matter. Everything seemed to go off well, no hassle or even drunken idiots (tho that may have had something to do with the fact that the bar queue was apparently over half an hour long) and no-one got shot. Good times!

It's gone for good. Guess it had to happen eventually, what with newt writin' all his fancy Columns in the papers and, you know, getting paid and stuff, but still, much woe here :(

It'll be sorely missed.

Even if we don't have the best footballers anymore and never had the best hurlers, at least Down can still say we have the best slogans ;)
