I breakfasted out on the patio in the sunshine this morn, so am feeling tres continental! It's lovely out there, have even Gardened! Tho have now retreated indoors cos it did get very warm.
So far, contrary to my expectations, this not working thing is, well, great! I have TIME!! To do STUFF! I can go hang out with friends, sort the horse, visit family and still have lots of time to just chill out at home, having lie-ins, pottering round the garden and having vague fits of clearing stuff up. It does get a bit dull in the evenings but a combination of gtalk chats and alcohol can help with that ;p
I also went to pony camp! It was great fun, lessons were tough and while I did great while I was there, somehow when I got back home and tried jumping again, it all just isn't working. Something in my head is refusing to let go of the fear... Ah well. May try for a few more lessons and stick to riding that doesn't involve jumping for a while and see how it goes.
No sign yet of ads for our jobs being out (despite 'assurances' that they'd be 'ready soon' over 2 months ago...), have applied and been accepted on to this MSC course in GIS stuff which starts in sept., so am just going to aim for that and see what happens in the mean time.
That's about it really. Ooh have joined the google + bandwagon, which so far seems to be fbook with lj friendlist style things. Tho one worrying thing is that the phone app seems to have uploaded all my photos automatically, which i am less keen on, but will have to poke about in the settings to work that one out. Probably have invites if there's anyone wanting one ;)
