A perfect evening?

I had such a lovely evening last night. Got home from work, and got recipie for oniony garlicy dinner from Thesme. Pottered about on the mud, chatted to people for a bit then went to Tescos & veg shop for onions and garlic and stuff.
Also got Tiger Rolls, as fragglechick is always extolling their virtues - and how right she is. TASTLICIOUS hmmm.
Made Lovely Dinner, which was very very tasty. Had long hot bath with Georgette Heyer book.
Chatted to people some more, pottered about t'internet before retiring to bed to read. Got rather disturbed by seeing the MINI HOFF ad on tv, but otherwise nothing happened to mar a very enjoyable evening.

Was just getting comfy and thinking 'hmm what a nice evening' when the phone rang and thesme_01 tried to DESTROY MY BRANES by reading hoff/shat porn down the phone to me. WOE.
I hung up. She called back. I pressed all the buttons in desperation to drown her out, then hung up. She called back. I begged for mercy, then hung up. She called back. Thankfully at this point the phone battery gave out, or we could have been there all night (ALL NIGHT LONG).

Anyway, what is your favourite way to spend an evening to yourself?
(Thesme, you need not answer. I'm not sure we can cope with knowing).

I was with friends last night (even though I managed to mud before and after - and I think mixed up two people who oughtn't to have been mixed up, and got back to ankh morpork via the magical shop - hoorah!). These friends were the ones who forgot the cats... and who've read my blog. Which they felt was a little unfair. So I had lots of 'pologising to do.

Humm. My favourite way of spending the evening on my own is after nice dinner in my tidy house getting to mud for hours with no annoying phonecalls, maybe flirt online with the crush at the same time, then go up to bed and read something silly till I fall asleep. It has to be a fairly cool evening so I can snuggle down into my duvet.

That sounds remarkably similar to my idea of a lovely evening, just without the 'tidy house' part ;p

Also oops on the friends - but they DID forget to feed your cats! So they deserve it ;p
