In a fit of Organisation I have finally managed to book flights to Canada for Great Family Visiting Justice, last week in September. Alas this was accompanied by a fit of DUMB, leading to booking the flight home for the wrong date. Thankfully a very nice man fixed it for me this morning, and only laughed at me a little bit.
The moral there - don't try booking flights, chatting on MSN and the mud all at the same time. I blame Begorragh (FUCKERS). And the Rugby Players.

Also finally managed to ring the Boiler Man re new boiler, as it is starting to get a bit nippy again.

Plans for this weekend - lazing, horse, SNAKES ON A PLANE, then babysitting Sunday and Monday. No bank holiday lie-in for me, oh no.
For those of you off to Sherwood, have fun! May have to watch some RoS tonight.

It is a club for (Mostly) Irish mudders on teh mud. A terrible pack of retrobates who are Very Rude and Vulgar and have a shockingly corruptive influence.

Canada! *sigh* I want to go! This time last year I was planning my trip. Will look at my photos again with dreamy expression. I need to marry a Canadian so I can go and live there (well, its sort of a plan.....)

Sounds like a very fine plan! I'm not sure how much Sightseeing will be done, but I'd like to see Niagara again now it's not covered in ice, and have a wander round Toronto and.. stuff. We shall see ;)

With all the other weekends away and stuff going on, so did I. But even if I wasn't babysitting, I'd have been off down south to a b'day party in wicklow this weekend so couldn't have made it anyway.
There jsut arent enough weekends in the summer!

I'm quite enjoying this summer thing! I just hope it expends to the autumn and winter as well :S

Heh my weekends away tend to come to an abrupt halt once october starts and I have full time horse - getting cat sitters is easy enough, horse sitters is a bit trickier ;p

Which is why I tend to make the most of the summer and cram all the getting away in then ;)

I live in fear of not being able to get out any more and rotting alone at home :S

Excellent! Looked at the National express thing and it would take 13 hours nd go via scotland but that's doable!

Visits! visits are fun, I need to do more of them. As long as I can convince myself that the visitees (is that even a word? ;) won't mind that is.. I have a couple of possible victims in my sights but I'm not entirely sure they are aware of it yet ;)

And haven't even started to think about when, I am ridiculously bad at planning. As my poor mum always finds out to her sorrow, I was supposed to go home for a visit in June according to her and I still haven't got anything booked. *blushes in shame*

No. For she is MEAN

Alas no. Will be away babysitting most of this weekend and with both canada and a new boiler on the horizon, last minute York visiting isn't really on. Also have a BILLION people here in ireland I have neglected all summer, so may take a run to dublin next saturday and try to do a whirlwind sweep.
