Photo post - horses and babies and cats, Oh My!

Yay the zigs is back. Fat and with sore feet (due to lack of shoes) so we can't actually do much of anything til she's shod. Whether D. has fully grasped yet that this means there is no way she'll be fit to hunt in 6 weeks or so I have no idea. It's unlikely though.

Anyway, as before, pics so I can do Before and After shots when she finally does start working properly again!

Looking very Drafty

The Belly, in full effect (no, she is not in foal ;p)

Feeling a tad camera shy. But it's not all bad - it's mostly grass belly, she's still got a lot of muscle at the front and back and the topline isn't *too* bad. What we really need is the farrier. Who is, typically, on holiday.

Also took shiny new camera with me at the weekend while babysitting, since I don't have many recent pics of the munchkins. Aoife loves having her photo taking, Shea hates it ;p

Reared in captivity, the babies had outgrown their enclosure and were soon to be set free

The release of the babies into the wild was a complete success...

A brief moment of calm. Thank god for the electronic babysitter!
(note, we had been up for 3 hours by this point and I have managed to get one of them *half* dressed. Go me!)

And because this IS livejournal and there ARE rules,

Asleep at the end of the bed (camera phone pic)

Why I sometimes have trouble typing...

And so the babies start their long migration across teh Serengeti. Back garden of Sisterz hoose looks GORGEOUS!

My sister is 'galleoning her way through the plebs of Dublin', apparently.

Isn't wonderful to see them in the wild?

They do just RUN tho, as soon as the back door is open, they're off ;p The house is in a lovely spot, they get the most amazing sunsets. And cows and sheep in the fields out back, which the kids love ;p

Hehe go Bee!

Hehe, your cat does the keyboard thing too. She looks somewhat slimmer than the 5-kilo-lump I ususally get on mine though!

Yeah, she likes to go to sleep across my wrists, which is fine til I need to use the mouse. Or move in anyway at all really ;)

Look at the awesome scenery over the garden fence!!!

*admires*

Purty purty cats!

...and a horse.

More of an elephant than a horse just now, but we'll get that sorted out soon enough!

They do have an amazing view out there, and they get the BEST sunsets too ;)
