YAY! Not only is it Friday, I only have about an hour left here before I can go and not return til tuesday week! HURRAH!

How old were you when you first...

Fell in love: Not sure that I have yet. Had burst of Very Strong Obsession at... 21 I think, which I thought was It, but luckily wasn't.

Lost your virginity: also 21, just about ;)

Lost someone close to you: Nana (mother's mother) when I was 11

Drank alcohol: hmm, 16 I think

Smoked: cigarettes - never really. Joints otoh... about 17 or 18 I think.

Got your heart broken: 32, when my father died.

Got arrested: Not to date, tho nearly did when... 20, for stealing a sign. They made us take it back and apologise instead.

Broken a bone: not yet!

Got cheated on: Dunno if I have been :p If I was, it would have been about 21/22

Rode the city bus: when very small no doubt. Was getting the bus to school from 11 onwards

Went to a concert: 16. Anthrax in the Antrim Forum (actually the leisure centre with fancy name). Gave up school trip to Florence and Venice to go to that one; it had originally been Pompeii, which would have won, but Anthrax v. Art Galleries was no contest.


Met someone famous: hmm. I met Terry Pratchett at a con. thingy when I was... 16 I think. My memory for When Things Happened is crap ;p

Dyed your hair: hmm about 29 I think

Got your first cell phone: 30

Got a Myspace: HAHA not

Snuck out of the house: when i was 5 and decided to Run Away. Didn't get very far because I wasn't allowed to cross the road on my own. When older, it was more of the sneaking IN than out ;p

Got your own digital camera: hmm, when did I go to Syndey... 32! (just ;p)

First time you got drunk: 16. End of Dig party in King's Head. They got me to try wine (which I didn't like) then we went back to boss's house and there was THE HOLY GRAIL - a BOX of strongbow. A WHOLE BOX. I tried it, I liked it, apparently I drank most of it. Was still drunk when I got to school the next day. Have been searching for another one ever since - a whole BOX. You could keep it in the fridge and it wouldn't go flat or fall over and spill like stupid barrack-buster bottles.

Read Harry Potter: uh.. no idea. When did it come out?

Travelled across the ocean: Which one? First Big Long Haul trip was to Australia at 32. Haven't been to US yet. CANADA TOMORROW THO HURRAH.

Wore a toga: have yet to do so.

Travelled out of state/country: um... school trip to Paris and Lourdes, via Many Dead Saints In Boxes, 12

Shopped at Abercrombie/M&S: the former, never, the latter? Um. No idea. Hardly a Big Lifetime Landmark...

Went to Disney World: never, and have no plans to in future (actually unhurt's answer, but ditto)

Saw a Broadway/West End play: have never been to either

How old are you now: 35. I have no idea how this happened. I'm SURE I'm 26 or there abouts.



So yes, Canada tomorrow. Have to be at airport at Ungodly Hour (5 I think), then off for a week of playing with small nephews, shopping and testing out new hot tub in the brother's back garden (being installed today apparently).
And, hopefully, trying once more to meet with kearsley - with a bit more success than last time if all goes well ;p

ETA Richard Hammond out of intensive care. Only to High Dependency ward, but still, a good sign, however slight.
