Eugh. Just got canvassed by Sinn Fein for upcoming election. With them helpfully pointing out that since the SDLP aren't standing here, it's between them and the DUP. What a choice...

They look excellent! The closest we ever had to that was The Natural Law Party (http://www.natural-law-party.org.uk/index1.htm) but I think they were actually serious.
Sadly the Monster Raving Loony Party (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Official_Monster_Raving_Loony_Party) don't stand here :/

The Donald Duck party generally get about 1% of all votes cast in any governmental election in Sweden. It doesn't exist of course but it still manages fairly well :P

And they call this democracy. :\ I don't usually approve of the 'spoil the ballot paper' option but in this case I'd make an exception.

I was actually considering that last night for the first time ever. No idea who else is standing yet tho - the shinners seem to be getting in early, so there may be SOME other choice. I hope.
