There should be some sort of law saying Mondays don't have to start til lunchtime *yawns* So Sleepy.

Had a lovely weekend with adelpha & kelemvor visiting, which mostly revolved around eating, drinking and getting the cats high on fresh catmint.
There was also of course Eurovision, which was a lot of fun despite the Outrage at the result [1] and provided a great excuse to get the enormous tacky punch bowl out and fill it up with tasty alcohols. And fruit! There was chocolate fondue too, a Dalek cake and many other tasty treats, including the garlickiest garlic bread ever. So tasty.
Very little else was done, including leaving the house, but it was all good fun and a very relaxing weekend, with many DVD's watched, so I have no idea why I am still so tired this morning.

Next on the visiting list are littlebluefish & kryptykfysh, followed at some point by malvino.
Which means I have to clean the house at least TWICE more this year. Teh horror!


[1] Serbia should NOT have won, it should have been Ukraine :/ Tho now I have a fun new game at work, which is sneaking up behind people and yelling DANZEN!

I exercised my democratic right to vote and went for Ukraine. I did like the Swedes though. Swedes know how to write a catchy choon.

Ireland's effort was fucking abysmal. I couldn't believe the UK didn't give them points though. This could spark an international incident!

Heh, the Swedes were very entertaining, in a slightly scary way ;p But I voted for Ukraine too! They were ROBBED.

But yes, Ireland's entry was jsut dire, I have no idea why the Albanians of all people gave it points! But the UK not voting for it at all was a bit of a shock, after all the Horror that was Skooch got points from Ireland.
There'll be Repercussions next year I bet!

Yes, there's a rumour doing the rounds that Morrissey wrote the lyrics. I'd have to say I find it doubtful, but you'd never put it past him. Didn't he write an episode of Brookside once? I think he killed everyone off. The producers rejected it.
