Alas

walklikeacat have left to go back home, after a wonderful week of lazing about watching dvds, drinking wines and being extremely well looked after without ever been made to feel like a child or a useless idiot. So Well Done Them ;)

It's a shame we couldn't actually get out and about more and Do Stuff, but we can save all that for another visit, when I am Mobile once more.

Today has been quite busy - the bathroom men came and ripped out the old bathroom, managing to only slightly flood the living room in the process - and have (according to report, I can't get up the stairs cos they're covered in cardboard ;p) already got all the tiling done.

Then this afternoon, a couple of riding buddies called in, took me up to the stables and brought Ziggy in from the field so I could see how she's doing. Mostly, she's doing Fat. Her feet were a mess tho (D. obviously put her out without taking the shoes off first), but luckily the farrier was actually there so he trimmed and tidied them up a bit, so she'll be more comfortable at least.
It was lovely to see her but now I want to get up there and actually look *after* her. Woe.

This evening (for the day is not yet over), the ever fragrant

thesme_01 is calling down from Donegal and giving me a lift back to the mother's. Hopefully there will also be Fine Wine involved ;)
