Mood swings? Moi?

Woo. Three months today since leg breakage, but fear not! This is not another tale of woe and angst; today I am feeling much better.

Partly due to non-broken leg being much less achy and functioning almost as normal; also possibly due to having the house to myself for the weekend. I've been living alone for so long now, it's been odd sharing again. Mainly because I am not used to having to adapt/temper moods to fit around someone else - being Polite all the time is such a STRAIN.

Anyway, I have been having Adventures In Coping!
Yesterday I made it to the chip shop AND the off licence (despite their attempt to thwart me with a step. HAH! I laugh in the face of... one low step. LAUGH) to have a lovely evening of chip butties followed by cider, Firefly and mudding.

This evening I am COOKING. Actual food! Garlic potatoes with roast peppers and onions, currently in the oven. I may even toast some pine nuts, if I can figure out how to do it on one leg without falling over...

And later, round to my sister's to watch dvds and drink more cider; practically a night out!

i have fixed my toilet with araldite, does that count as adventurous?

you are mistress of all you survey! especially if sitting down. and i think not snapping and beating those around you with your crutch is pretty impressive. i probably would have by now. *clings to solitary existence*

p.p.s. i keep telling people i'm having a birthday party maybe on the 29th (saturday). it seems this is for certain to be the case. do you think the leg might let you come by then? i am prepared to install a porta-potty in the back room downstairs if need be! and even invite that looper thesme.

Toilet fixing sounds pretty adventurous to me! Plumbing baffles me ;p

party on 29th could well be doable, I'm not exactly drinking a lot these days so I might not need the poratpotty. But woohoo a PARTY! yay ;)
