China's terracotta army comes to British Museum

ooooooh!!! YAY! I have dreamt of seeing these in the flesh (or rather clay ;p) ever since they were first discovered and now I can [1]! In a while. But it's there til April so plenty of time to get mobile enough so spend some happy hours wandering around going 'oooh'.

From the museum website
The exhibition includes a number of the world-famous terracotta
warriors from Xi'an, China, which were buried alongside the
First Emperor in readiness for the afterlife, as well as some of the
most striking recent discoveries made on the site.

I'm right there with ya doll, I've always wanted to see these too. I always fancied going to China to see them in their own setting, but certainly wouldn't sniff at the chance to see them over these shores!

Maybe this could be a setting for future muff-meet?

Well it'd have to wait til I'm fit to actual enjoy a day wandering round a museum, so I was thinking January or so, it's on until next april anyway, so plenty of time!

very excited. Ps you should book now if you want to see them.. nearly all the weekend slots til december were booked already when we booked a couple of days ago.
