Staples are out! Sort of snipped out rather than yanked with a staple remover tho :p

and I WALKED! Still with crutches and only to the kitchen and back, but I was walking, not hopping! Can't get my heel to the ground tho, calf muscle/tendons etc seem to have all seized up, so it's tiptoes for now.
It's only taken four months too ;p

But... WALKING!

Now all I have to do is find a shoe/sandal I can actually get on my foot.

With my luck I'd be more worried about accidentally slimming my calf down a bit.

That would be a worry, yes. The way I'm going, I'd probably slice a limb or two right off...
