hellisonYesterday was quite a busy day. Went into work in the morning briefly and managed to be Efficient and Productive (was probably the novelty value of being there).
Then came home, read LJ and... was Inspired and spent the rest of the day creating art and engaging in a War of Wrongness with Thesme. You may have noticed this Art had an... ecclesiastical theme.
So it was a bit of a shock to me last night when, while checking lj and so on, the doorbell rang and in came... THE PRIEST. Seriously.
He came to visit, and bless the house (this being the Mother's house). Keeping a straight face while just chatting was hard enough but when the praying bit came, all I could see was CARDINAL THESME.
I could HEAR the faint whistling of her kneenipples.
I almost bit a hole in my tongue trying to look Pious (never an easy job at the best of times).
Mostly, all I could think was "HOW DID HE KNOW??" He even blessed the car on his way out!
I wonder what demons of evil have been driven out this? I don't think the holy water got me, but you can never be too sure.
Only time will tell.
