Because of the stupid fucking postal strike the referral letter from the doctor hasn't got to the physio yet. And probably won't for a while yet.

Turns out it's not the postal strike, it just took the secretaries til friday to type up a letter dictated as Urgent on Tuesday. Allegedly it was delivered by hand to the hospital (which is just across the road) on Friday. But somehow it still hasn't made it all the way to the physio dept.

They won't arrange an appointment until they get the letter.

So it could still mean another two fucking weeks before I even get to *see* the physio, never mind actually get anywhere.


RARR.

Also, it did finally sink in over the weekend that I really have fucked my ankle up good and proper. Yes, I do realise it has taken me four months to realise this and I have been a tad stupid over-optimistic all along about it getting better.

On the plus side, when I have been wearing the sandals with the strap across the middle, it looks like I've had corset on it when I take it off. Yay for squidgey swelling :p

1. monday. enough suck with no other issues!

4. prior to strike, postie has lost/stolen TWO parcels sent to my home address. or given them to weird & probably thieving neighbours without sticking a card through my door.

6. they just cancelled my hungarian class due to not enough people. i have been waiting SEVEN YEARS to take a hungarian class. *cries* need at least 9 people, then they will run it in january. *looks hopefully at hellison*
