Turns out it's not the postal strike, it just took the secretaries til friday to type up a letter dictated as Urgent on Tuesday. Allegedly it was delivered by hand to the hospital (which is just across the road) on Friday. But somehow it still hasn't made it all the way to the physio dept.
They won't arrange an appointment until they get the letter.
So it could still mean another two fucking weeks before I even get to *see* the physio, never mind actually get anywhere.
RARR.
Also, it did finally sink in over the weekend that I really have fucked my ankle up good and proper. Yes, I do realise it has taken me four months to realise this and I have been a tad
On the plus side, when I have been wearing the sandals with the strap across the middle, it looks like I've had corset on it when I take it off. Yay for squidgey swelling :p
