hellisonHeyho, it is unseasonably sunny outside, which is good. The Mother is off to Canada later today for 10 days, which means I am left to fend for myself! Except for the weekend when I am bravely making my own escape and adventuring to the wilds of... Reading. For Fine Wines and Intellectual Discussion of Art and Literature. And so on.
Physio yesterday was good, now I just have to get my head around the fact that not only does my foot have to go to the ground now, it has to STAY there. No more hopping, but a very graceful hobbling sort of lurch on crutches instead. Go me ;p
The aim is to gradually build up weight bearing & general movement until I can get down to walking with just one crutch. This may take some time, but it's a start! Maybe once i get that far I will purchace a fancy walking stick.
Finally, some of the many relations that visited over the weekend left a couple of photos from Italy of Just Before The Fall, which have tactfully been referred to as 'the princess di photos' all weekend. Looking at them, what I mostly have to say is ... Oh My. It may be just as well I only wore that dress for about 20 minutes ;p
Also have been scouring the photo taken on the Fateful Minibus for signs of Puma.
Looks slightly odd cos it's a photo OF a photo, plus I cut out the Girl Who's Name I Can't Remember, who was standing beside me. But... Maybe it's at an angle? Or they zoomed in? Or... something? I don't recall ever looking quite so Jordanesquue before!
Spot the Puma! Can you see it lurking anywhere through the windows?
